In 1997 the Jortech Group has founded in Amersfoort through Frans Serhalawan with the intention to introduce Dutch garden building Technology in South Easterly Asia, from a Technical view.
We started in Indonesia where we begun with the introducing of the Dutch garden building technology but adapted to the local circumstances.

Through the Technical background and a healthy view on the many possibilities in Indonesia, Jortech has acquired an excellent position with name in the garden building.

Next to the furnishing of Dutch garden building materials, Jortech also showed how the Dutch products must be used through means of Practical training

This in combination with the culture technical support of the business PT. Joro what has been set up in 1992 to Bogor in Indonesia through Ronald Serhalawan. In the course of the years, Ronald Serhalawan can see to over a group through him self trained local trainers, consultants with the right knowledge of affairs.

Meanwhile through these two businesses a threesome of practice training centre's has been set up for Indonesia (Java- Bali) on strategic spots so that the small Gardner can follow the training at a training center close to himself.

First we had to demonstrate that with the Dutch technology (though then not adapted) you could get much more of continuous export quality and more growth we then first had to invest ourselves in a production garden where we self could show with the Dutch Technology a combination of Production / Practice training centers.

Our first training practice center was opened by Dutch Minister Joritsma in 1999

Finally this resulted in that now more than 150 hectares of vegetables in Indonesia are produced under glass garden buildings.       

Because once in a while in Indonesia there are political problems, and so vehement that we had to decide to do a copy of our (lives)- work  and put up the same sort of training centre in Thailand so the possible risks where cut in half, but  we have not gone away from Indonesia, we only setup a Parallel.

And not without success for since we first introduced the sweet peppers in 1998, there is a development arise in Thailand that  is enormous. We also have setup a  comparable network in Thailand with the necessary Practice training facilities.

The business in Thailand named D. A. T. T. Assistant. Ltd. becomes neat as in Indonesia run through 2 Dutchman, and also can see to over an excellent group of local trainers.

Also through the extensive knowledge and experience in the garden building for South Easterly Asia is the specialty of the group Jortech the Netherlands,  Pen. Joro and D.A.T.T.Co.Ltd. Turnkey projects are put up and (remain) accompany of A till Z.
